Omg hahahahahahaha typing on an iPod Touch is... hard? Rofl. Can't believe that school holidays are ending already :( Ahhhhh. D:
Anyway. Apple (I think) recently (I think, again) released an iBooks app, which is super awesome, I say. I've totally realised the awesomeness of e-books. AHAHAHA. :D The awesome thing was though I downloaded only previews of the books (James Patterson ahhhh!) I can read quite a few chapters of the book (though imho JP's books, at least his Women's Murder Club books, have rather short chapters xD).
But the next day, I realised that the iBooks store no longer has the cool books like James Patterson, Jodi Picoult or Nicholas Sparks. Because "books may vary according to location" (I'm presuming) I can't enjoy these authors any more, preview or not.
Instead, I'm left with classics like Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre and who knows what. Uh. Yeah, Apple, people in my country only enjoy all-time classics. ._. Of course I'm not really blaming Apple, since licensing usually covers places like, I don't know, USA, Canada and Europe? So disappointing for countries like ours in Asia, hm?
So I went to other ebook apps, and found Kobo, which I quite like now, at least more than iBooks, for its much larger variety of titles. However, the downside (there's always a downside, isn't there?) is that its previews are much shorter, to the tune of one chapter. -.- And no Nicholas Sparks. ):
Ohwell. I guess the library, and traditional paperbacks are the better way to go, huh? LOL.
^^ flynx.
